Missed Assessment Board

This is quite long, so I'll try to keep it condensed.

On Friday, after 48 hours of me inquiring as to why my nursing results had not been published, I was finally informed by the university that because someone forgot to put a module grade on my progression page, I missed the assessment board.

They've said I now have to wait until November 16th, and I want to know where I stand in terms of making a complaint to the university.

I'm so frustrated. At first, it sounds like a simple administrative issue, but until I get my grades, I cannot register as a nurse. I have already started my new job (two weeks ago) under the assumption that my PIN would come through in October. I'm now worried that I will lose my job because the PIN is more likely to be issued in December. If they do let me stay, I will remain a band 4 member of staff until I get a PIN, so I'll essentially be paid less than I should be until December despite doing everything expected of me to become a registered nurse.

I don't really know what to do or where to go with this. It just doesn't feel right.

Until you get you pin, you can't be paid a band 5 - so your work won't be being paid less than you should be.

Having said that, you'd be right in complaining to higher powers at the university because someone "forgot" to put a grade through.
Explain to your work the issues you've faced and what's happened at the university. They can't dismiss you because there's a genuine reason for you waiting on your NMC registration.
