2025 Entry Medicine application as a graduate

Hi guys, I'm a UK (home) graduate student entering my 3rd year of biomedical science. I wanted to ask what universities I can apply to with my UCAT scores. I don't mind applying for graduate or undergraduate entry, but I would prefer to study in or near London for undergraduate entry since I could travel to university from home. Before anyone says Warwick, I unfortunately don't have the required 70 hours of clinical work experience to apply there.

Degree: BSc Biomedical Science predicted 2:1/1st (not finalised yet)
UCAT: 2780 Band 1
GCSE: 98887666 + Merit

Here are some universities I think I can apply to:
St George's University of London
Anglia Ruskin University
Brunel University
Queen Mary University of London

Thank you!

Hello,

I’m a third year medical student at ARU and I also applied as a graduate with my biomedical science degree.

I wanted to be close to London but still outside so I wouldn’t be hit by London prices. I chose ARU as I liked the Chelmsford area when I visited during an open day and I also liked how the course would be structured and delivered.

A huge thing I considered was clinical hours as I had just finished a science degree and did not want to do three years of pure theory before clinical. At ARU we see patients from year 1 and have 1 practical day a week from the beginning as well. Where we practice our clinical skills in the med lab and also learn anatomy in the anatomy lab.

I would suggest heading down to one of the open days so you can meet current students and lecturers and get a feel for the university and campus.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

Thank you for your reply! Could I ask what you got in your UCAT and your degree to get an offer?
