Need to decline my place ASAP but can't get through to the uni.

Hi guys, so basically I really want to get onto another course through clearing (it's already started) but need to decline my current place. There's no option to do it on UCAS. I've been trying to call both the university and UCAS all morning but I must have a network issue because none of my calls are going through. Is there any point emailing? When my parent comes home from work I can use their phone, but I'm just anxious about time.

Any advice will be appreciated!

Emailing... yeah, but calling is much quicker so keep trying. Go on the uni website and see if you can find alternative phone numbers to ring? E.g.: like maybe a general phone number for the university or perhaps the phone number of the department your degree is based at
