I’m hoping to go next Sept
LNAT date set
Predicted grades good enough
But really worried they sell 1/3rd of the places to overseas students which seems wrong to me

Applied to Bristol too! So worried I bombed the LNAT though. Haven't received any news yet. Does anyone know if Bristol has started sending out decisions?

Applied to Bristol about a month ago and it's my top choice along with Kings, really worried I won't get in as I completely butchered the Lnat. I saw they aim to get back within 5 weeks of submitting your application which is close coming for me but also heard they put most people on hold...

i wouldn’t worry about it, they tend to wait to respond to law applicants after the equal consideration date (longer than the usual 5 weeks), also from what i’ve seen they haven’t given out any offers to any home non contextual students- i’ve gotten back 3/5 offers, one of which is an LNAT uni (the other is oxford which hasn’t responded to any law applicants yet) and haven’t heard back from bristol either so i wouldn’t worry about your LNAT, i think it’s just the norm  also if it helps i spoke to a girl at their open day who was in 1st year and said she only got 23 on the LNAT and still got in so shouldn’t be a huge deal!!

Thanks!! Really reassuring! Although I'm still starting to get anxious because I was rejected by Oxford earlier this week (not very surprised but still disappointed as I was rly hoping for at least the interview) and just got put on hold for bristol... also head of people at king's getting accepted but no news... Anyone else get put on hold/accepted/ rejected from Bristol?? I mean I did hear that being put on hold means you meet the entry requirements so really crossing my fingers

Hi I wouldn’t worry too much bcs getting put on hold rly changes nothing to having no news bcs it could still go either way. Anyhow I got put on hold two days ago (28th nov) but I applied on the 14th oct so it also depends when you applied, but as said getting put on hold isn’t any more reassuring than before

me tooooo. i literally can’t tell if i’ve flunked the lnat or done really well. it’s such a weird exam imo!!

Just remember that you won't hear anything sensible until Bristol has received your LNAT result, marked your essay, and processed it all.

Hmm okay I applied on the 2nd oct but yeah I guess it’s just a waiting game now. I wish we got lnat results sooner!

Hi everyone! I thought I would start a Bristol thread for applicants this year for law. Good luck all!

Just found out there will only be 200 places on the LLB courses for Normal British applicants because 200 placed have been sold or given to contextual Offer applicants, how is that fair ? It’s shocking

They are using the LNAT and selection process to hide their true intentions, that girl you spoke to would have went to the “right schools”

We did a FOI request last year and of the 402 LLB places after contextual and overseas students 207 went to home British, of that 207 only 25 came from state schools

It’s not a fair and just system
