SFE payment dates after changing course

Hi so a bit of background info
My original course is 4 years and the course I want to transfer to is 3 years.
I’ll be at the same university, but repeating first year as it is a different course.
My SFE for 24/25 has already been approved but with the original course.
My transfer decision wont be released until a week before term starts, so I’ll only know what I’ll be studying this coming year during Freshers week.
I rang up SFE before to check what I need to do and asked if my payment dates would be affected and they said no but the website says my application would need to be reassessed and it would depend if I submit by changes before or after my course starts.
So I was wondering if anyone can clarify whether I’ll still be able to received my payments on the same dates or if they will change if my application needs to be reassessed? I’ve already asked my student halls to align my rent with SFE as originally they were due a week before and there’s no way I can delay it further if SFE has to reconsider my application for another 6 weeks

Hi there, Payment dates can change as these are inline with term start dates and some course start at different dates. So this is dependent on the course details the university advise of. Your application would be fully reassessed with the change of course details. Thanks, Angela
