Hey guys.im doing A-levels in biology , chemistry , and math, how many compulsory subjects are there with the elective ones?
and before entering a medical university are there any books which are useful to study?

There are no compulsory A levels, you only take whichever ones you pick (normally three).

For extra reading for medicine, check out a reading list from a university, for example https://www.emma.cam.ac.uk/images/files/reading_list_potential_medics.pdf. Pick any from here that look interesting to have a read.

Well you should try to have good and strong notes and resources to study .. for example there are some YouTube channels such as otter bio tutor , free science lessons , ms behology , chem bio info .. all which explain the syllabus .. there is also a website called studcou where you can get free notes ..
