Hi! My name is Lacey and I'm still waiting to hear back from Keele!
I'm currently studying Biology, Psychology, and Welsh Bacc. I studied Chemistry but decided to drop it at the start of Year 13.
I've applied to study Medicine with a Foundation Year.
GCSE Grades: A*A*A*A*AAAAABB, 7 in Sociology, and L2D in Finance
Predicted A Level Grades: A*AB (Foundation Year as no Chemistry anymore)
Sat the UCAT and got 2440 and B3, used Medify for a month, not as often as I should have haha
Can't wait to start university! I'll love the independence of being away from home, one of the reasons I've applied to Keele.
Other Unis I've Applied to: Southampton (Med Gateway, interview coming up), Plymouth (originally Med Foundation but rejected and swapped for Paramedic Science and now have an interview), Leicester (rejected), and Cardiff as a backup with Biomedical Sciences

Hey, not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I had my interview for MSc Counselling and Psychotherapy course with Keele a couple of weeks ago. I have offers that I have to respond to by the end of this month so I'm just waiting on Keele to get back to me to make up my mind.
Does anyone know by when I can expect to hear back?

Hey everyone, I just wanted to know if anyone has got their offers yet for MSc Counselling and Psychotherapy? I've been waiting for a response after the interview two weeks ago 🙂

Hi everyone. I've applied for the MSc Counselling & Psychotherapy and got an interview invite on Monday 14th April. Have been checking the portal religiously, but no interview dates are available. Anyone else facing the same issue?

Hi @Chris-19
I am in the same process myself. As far as I know. By contacting the university myself. Keele university have an application process. The University waited until results day from all college students. If you have received an email confirming your place on your course and within the email it states you will receive another email about welcome week and in due course you will be contacted by a member of the admissions team to discuss the next step (I.e. DBs check, occupational health check) then you need to await an email with a link about how to apply for the enhanced DBS check and what the next stage of the application is. After you're DBS check is cleared. Then you will be contacted by the occupational health team by email after you have sent your DBS check by email to the university. Where you will then need to fill in a occupational health form that they send to you to fill in prior to an appointment in person to meet someone who will then pass your occupational health check of being fit for work and you will also be sent an email about enrollment and how to enrol online on their system and get your student ID badge. I hope this helps it's what I've been told. Congratulations for becoming a Keele University student and best wishes for the future.

Hi @Gops 2007
How did you get on with your personal statement?
I found to stay true to yourself and being honest was the best. Making it look very professional. And relating your skills and work experience or studies to your course and career choice. Demonstrate your knowledge of medicine and your interests and strengths and what you like to do in your spare time. I hope you got on to the course you wanted?

Hi @Wanesa1996

I am currently studying Bsc Nursing-Adult. First year. I wouldn't worry too much. About meeting other student nurses. Your tutor and the nursing team will be on hand for any questions and encourage you to communicate with students next year. Best of luck to you.
