Cambridge university freshers

I'm pretty sure many freshers events are either in college or are in clubs where the clubs are specifically booked out for the students. That's how it was for us in 2021 and I'd imagine not much has changed. Either way, you may struggle with Cambridge student freshers events.

I am currently going to a campus from Middlesex uni just outside of Cambridge, I’m 19 and was hoping to do freshers in Cambridge as my campus is so small it’s not doing any freshers events. Does anyone know anyone who is starting at Cambridge who would want to connect? I don’t want to miss out on freshers events like clubbing and getting to know new people I feel so isolated being so far away from the city
