Do Bath universities have flat parties like other unis?

I’m starting uni this week coming and i’m terrified ill be bored from no one partying or going out much during freshers because of Bath’s reputation, is it true the night life is virtually non existent? Are there house parties in freshers?

House parties definitely happen. Bath’s night life is limited rather than non-existent, but Bristol’s really not far.

@WaistcoatRich yes very true, Bristol is about 25 mins by bus and a student return using tap-on-tap-off is currently £3.80. I admit Bath's nightlife scene isn't as extensive as some bigger cities like Leeds, Manchester and Bristol, but there are a few nice clubs in Bath, such as Moles, Komedia, Bridge etc who host fun student nights most weeks as well as lots of other places to explore. However if you wanted more of a lively scene Bristol's a good option for a night out!
