Student Finance

I'm about to start my first year as a freshman but don't want to be in debt with student finance in the future, so some family members have offered to pay for me at least for my first year

But I have already applied for student finance and was accepted, so i'm not sure how to change it, and if so how to inform my university about it as there's no information on changing finance methods, and i've tried contacting them about it but no reply yet

I'm just anxious as if I cancel my finance and I can't officially change the payment method, how will my year be paid?
