Van Mildert college reallocations

Does anyone know why so many freshers allocated to Van Mildert at Durham this year (2024) have been reallocated? I hear that some were told that renovations had overrun. If this is correct when will the renovations finish?

Reallocations are at times quite random so there isn't always a specific reason for a reallocation other than lack of availability in a specific college. As for the renovations, a timeline for when they finish isn't available at the moment 🙂
