Hello!
I'm Simran, a current biomedical science student at ARU Cambridge.
I was exactly in the same position as you when I was doing my A-levels. I wanted to pursue medicine, however did not recieve any offers so I knew I had to go through clearing. After lots of research, I found out ARU offer transfers to medicine.
First of all, yes the Biomedical Science course is accredited by the institute of Biomedical Science, as well as the Royal Society of Biology.
As for the transfer, I did not end up applying, however you would just apply via UCAS as you would normally in college. Remember you still have to do the UCAT, again like you normally would before applying to medicine.
The student life in Cambridge is great, there's plenty to do from punting to shopping and there are plenty of restaurants. The area is beautiful. Nightlife wise there are a few clubs, all of which have student nights and overall there is always something going on every night. Hope this helps
