MOJ reserve list

Hi,

I had my interview last week for a PSO role. They have 30 vacancies across different locations. They told me during the interview that they had more interviews over the next couple of weeks and I would hear back then.

Yesterday I received an email to say I had been a strong candidate but I was put on the reserved list. I also had to fill out a form with my preferred locations. Which I hadn’t been asked about before.

Is this the usual standard to be asked about locations on the reserve list? I understand they have a lot of vacancies to fill, I just hope I get a call or an email with an offer of a job!

Why on earth would students know if asking location preferences to appointmentable candidates is common practise for the MoJ...?
