Can you do an EPQ on a movie?

Is it possible to do an EPQ on a movie? Similar to doing a book, analysing texts and the making of it as well as context. I’m considering doing my EPQ on a really amazing movie that I have already been analysing in my head for months anyway. It’s not an irrelevant movie about stupid topics, it is genuinely amazing and has so many subtopics I can talk about. I honestly think i could structure a very large amount of text about it.

If anyone has ever done a movie, what else do you write about other than the things I’ve mentioned? Can I talk about what it personally means to me? The effect it has on people and the effect it had on people at the time it was published?

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Interesting approach to it. I think it could be an option. Have you spoken to your supervisor about this?
