(Aerospace) Engineering Degree Apprentiships

I'm a Year 13 student studying Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, with predicted grades of 4 A*s.

I'm currently unsure about which universities to apply to, except for Cambridge's Engineering course. I am interested in aerospace engineering however am not opposed to other fields of engineering.

Does anyone have recommendations for competitive degree apprenticeships at reputable companies with high salaries? Most of the ones I've come across aren't Level 6 or 7 and offer relatively low pay.

This is the most generic “I read one “top 10 prestigious” article and want an engineering career” view there is, and it’s posted multiple times a year.

I’d suggest delving deeper into what career options there are to align with your own personal interests. What’s going to get you out of bed on every morning and make you want to commute ~2 hours a day for the next 30-40 years?

After all, a high salary is a consequence of delivering on business needs and meeting goals and objectives, not academic achievement. Achieving that in a job you dislike for what might be a >40 year career can be extremely unpleasant.

Hi, I can send you a resource with loads about engineering degree apprenticeships, including average salaries and a list of companies that do level 6. (For reference, I got 8 degree apprenticeship offers, mostly in engineering)

Let me know if that would help you and I'll send over

That would be amazing thank you, I am passionate about engineering and have committed to several projects contrary to what the person above has said, my concern is not knowing where to begin and potentially getting stuck in an overly specialized career with limited room for growth.

I'm sorry for just forcing my way in, but could you send me that resource too? I'm interested in degree apprenticeships for engineering but I'm struggling to find many apprenticeships or much information about them.
Thanks
