sorry i have no advice, but i think you have a chance but when it comes to otherwise identical applications, they would probably choose the higher grade?

just a question for you, do you know if its possible to get onto a masters with no research experience?

I would say your chances at LSE and Imperial would unfortunately be pretty slim as while you do have good credentials in the field, they rarely accept anyone without a first class or 68%+ as it is more about whether you can survive the intense academic demands than it is about practical/real world skill. However, UCL and KCL are more forgiving with postgraduate grades (KCL's entry requirement is 60%+ and UCL's is 65%+) so your chances with them would be pretty good... but while this is true, please take into account the tuition fee's of these degrees and try to put aside the reputation of the uni.

The course you want at Imperial costs £42,500 (home) and at UCL costs £36,500 (home), whereas at LSE costs £18,300 (home) and at KCL costs £16,950 (home). Remember that the maximum postgraduate loan you get from student finance is only £12,471 and scholarships for masters are very rarely given, so the choice really becomes less about the uni and more about affordability.

You rarely ever need research experience to get onto masters. 99% of the time it is not a requirement as they assume that you will be coming from an undergraduate background looking to learn skills of research.
