Acceptence rate of russel group universites

Hello, I am well aware of the fact how most of the RUSSEL GROUP university's can get very competitive. With my immigrant background I have achieved average grades. I would be grateful if anyone were to ease my concerns by listing any Russel group uni to accept me despite my horrible grades :frown:
Here's My Grade's
English Literature: 7
English Language: 5
Bengali (community language): 6
Math: 3 (will be resitting)
Geography: 4
Citizenship: 5
History: 4
Religious Education: 5
Combined Sciences: 4/3
English Spoken Language: Merit
Art: Level 1 Pass
Thanks.
I wouldn't say most RG unis are very competitive. A few are. Many are pretty averagely competitive. Exeter has an offer rate of over 90% averaged across its courses...

Also most unis don't look at GCSEs that much beyond looking for passes in English language and Maths. Get a good pass in maths and focus on doing well in your A-levels. Also pick A-levels based on what you're good at rather than what you think might be "better".

As above, stop worrying.
If you meet any specific GCSE grade requirements (typically Maths and/or English), top Unis are far more interested in your A level predicted grades and your Personal Statement. Even where they do consider your overall GCSE profile, this is a tiny part of their assessment and is unlikely to be the game-changer.

As above, it's not difficult at all to get an offer from an RG uni. Some courses are competitive, (typically headline stuff; Law, COMPSCI, ACCYFIN, Economics and the like), but outside of that RG are no more difficult than any other uni.

Your Maths result will be a hindrance to nearly all courses so it's good that you are resitting. Eng Lang could be an issue for some essay based subjects, but depending on your fee status you could be given the option to complete an accepted English test in any case.
