Applying to higher ranking universities as a t-level student

I am trying to apply to higher ranking universities as a t-level student and am realising that despite having high first year grades and predicted high level grades for year 2 exams that it is near impossible to go to higher ranking universities as I don't take a-level maths. My course is t-level digital production and design and am applying to data science and computer science courses as i am not quite decided. Any help about navigating trying to apply to higher ranking universities would be appreciated as i was naive and believed what my college told me about t-levels while applying.

Unfortunately you've found out the truth about T-levels. If you want to go to a high ranking uni for competitive courses, you need to do the work of 4 (or even 5) A'levels, instead of 3 that most people do.

It might be worth trying to start self-studying A'level Maths and then try and sit it next year (after your T-level).
