Can I do medicine?

I want to do medicine but my gcses are: 8,7,6,6,6,6,6,6,5
Where the sciences and maths are at grade 6, but biology at grade 5.
I'm currently taking biology and chemistry a-level, and getting my biology papers remarked. However if I don't get a 6 I am considering taking a biology resit.

Nonetheless, are my GCSEs enough to get into medicine at university?

Depends on where. Oxford will almost certainly reject you but I'm sure many medical schools would take you with a strong set of GCSEs in a national context.

These are my GCSE Grades (999888766)
9 - Religious Studies, English Language and Literature
8 - Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths
7 - Geography
6 - Biology and Physics (AQA - 3 marks away from a 7 for both)
Do you think I can study medicine in (at least) the top 5 UK universities

I'm not an expert but I think with Oxford, unlikely. The other top unis don't stress GCSEs as much so you should be fine, but don't count on my advice

I have a similar concern my gcses are 9888877776 (the 6 is in physics and I'm getting the marking reviewed) can anyone tell me it would be worth applying to top med schools like ucl, exeter, cambridge, kings and imperial.
