Hi @mild-mannered-sp,

How are you? It's great to see that you are interested in studying Law at University and that we are one of the universities you are considering. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you have about our LLB (Hons) Law programme so please feel free to ask in the comments below. 😊

We do have an Open Day coming up at our Preston Campus on Sunday 13 October so if you are wanting to know more about our LLB (Hons) Law programme and have the chance to speak to current students and course tutors, feel free to come along. You can learn more here.

Best wishes,
Sarah

Hello yes, thank you for replying. I was wondering for your law course you offer a year abroad, what exactly does that entail, is there a specific list of countries you can choose from? How does the year abroad work and how do you apply for it?

Hi @mild-mannered-sp,

Thanks for your questions. Most of our courses are available to study overseas. This normally happens in your second year of studies. Whilst aboard, you will study your second year course modules with an international partner and this will just fit in with your normal degree time. Then you will simply return back to us afterward to complete the rest of your studies. We have a wide range of international partners from around the world and some of the destinations include, Australia, Canada, China, Spain, Singapore, USA and many more, you can find the full list here.

There's some really useful FAQ's related to studying aboard here. Hopefully this will give you more of an idea of what to expect but you can also discuss through your options with our Global Opportunities team by emailing [email protected]

If you do have any questions at all, do let me know 😊

All the best ^Sarah

Hello there,

I hope you are well.

Have you ever thought about studying in Cardiff, Wales? At Cardiff Met, we offer LLB (Hons) Law Degree - Cardiff Metropolitan University. For the entry requirements, we normally ask for at least grade CCC or above in order to meet 120 UCAS tariff points.

We have a brand new Moot Court room in School of Management where you can put legal theory into practice and develop your skills in collaboration, effective communication, legal research, and public speaking.

The next open day is 9th November. Please come along and explore what we provide at Cardiff Met. You can book your place here: Open Days - Cardiff Metropolitan University - Study in Cardiff, Wales, UK.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us on [email protected].

Hey there!

Congratulations on deciding that you want to study law. I am a law student as well so it is really nice to hear!!

University of Law would be a great option to apply to! I study my masters at Ulaw currently and it is the best for passionate law students.

I love that my classes are taught by qualified legal professionals and this really helps your motivation in learning, it is something I wish I would have known in the past.

It would be advisable to check their entry requirements for entry as for me it was only a requirement to have a 2:2 in my degree, which was achievable. I am unsure what your specific requirements will be but you can always get it checked online.

The student community is really strong and I love the way the course is structured as this is very helpful. So, I hope this helps you add another option to your list!

I hope you make the best choice for yourself!!
