Are there music practice rooms available for non-music students at Southampton?
Hi there, I'm beginning a course at the University of Southampton this year, and I'm not studying a music-related course, but wondered if there are rooms available to book for music practice regardless? I have seen options for rooms containing pianos, but I'm a drummer and hoped that similar rooms might be available with a drum kit. Thanks in advance.

Are you staying in halls of residence? Glen Eyre Halls has a music room that has a drumkit which is available for those staying in any university halls of residence to use. You can contact the accommodation team to find out more details on this. Their contact email is [email protected].
However, aside from that, the music rooms available to non-music students on campus do not have a drumkit.
Also, in some music societies there is the opportunity to use a drumkit.
