Resit A-levels or hope for transfer to different uni in year 2?

I missed out on both my firm and insurance choice and honestly it was kind of a shock to everyone - me included - idk how i thought i was doing well but that cant be helped right now. I've been thinking about other options and was wondering if it would be better to take a gap year, resit alevels and then go through clearing next year for my firm choice again or to start at my clearing uni, resit 2 alevels and hope for a transfer into 2nd year at my insurance uni? Or should i go to clearing uni and the apply for a year 2 transfer in american unis or just other international unis?

Don't resit a levels alongside uni. You will have much more to worry about once you start uni so it may be difficult to balance studying a levels ontop of new content even if you are familiar with a level content. You can't always assume if you apply for a transfer to a different uni that it will be accepted, although I've heard if the course structure is similar amongst both unis then it is possible (not definite). I think it's best to contact a trusted teacher of yours for some advice

Either tke a gap and resit or go to uni now and stay there.

Resits and uni are too much and there's no guarantee you can transfer.
