Hey! RUAE can definitely be difficult, but I think once you get the hang of the answers the sqa are looking for it’s a lot easier. If you have the time, I would always try and put an extra answer, so if it was a 4 mark question, I would put 5 points if I could find one.
I’m not sure if you know the process of answering the questions but if you are not sure where to pick up marks, i’d be happy to send you some of the slides my teacher used last year that explain how to answer questions if you want?
If there’s a specific question type you’re struggling with lmk and I can try and explain the best I can!

Hey!!! Thank you so much, I would say it’s the language questions I struggle with most because I normally look for word choice or sentence structure but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it. But I’ve got my RUAE prelim soon ish so I’ll go over it but if you could send the slides that would be great just lmk what you need to send it

I managed to achieve all A’s at Higher and am planning to apply for dentistry this year.
I sat Chemistry, Biology, Maths, English, Geography and Business Management.
I would love to answer any questions on specific subjects, tests, resources, study tips, assignments, general advice or anything else! Feel free to ask anything you want, I’d love to be of help

Hi,

Well done you for getting 6 As - that’s amazing! I’m also trying to achieve this as I got all As at Nat 5 but obviously higher is a lot harder.

I’m taking English, French, Modern Studies, Business and Psychology this year and it’s going ok but I’m really struggling with the motivation to study/put in any effort and my time management is terrible. Do you have any general tips for motivation and navigating the year?

Would also appreciate any tips for English as I am unfortunately stuck with a teacher who is not best a explaining things and is barely in class.

Thanks so much!!
