What Unis allow A Level resit students for mechanical engineering?

Hi, I am planning to retake A Levels this year after a disappointing results day in August, where I achieved CCD in Biology, Economics, and Maths. I applied to several universities through Clearing but wasn’t satisfied with any of them. At the same time, I began questioning my chosen course (Biology) and whether I would enjoy four years of it, as well as the career prospects afterward. In the end, I decided it was best to resit, and I have developed a particular interest in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. However, I understand that Mechanical Engineering is a broader degree, which may offer more flexibility if I decide to change career paths in the future. I've also heard that mechanical engineers find aerospace work easier than aerospace engineers would find work in other engineering industries, though I’m trying not to rule out Aerospace Engineering completely since I have limited knowledge about its industry prospects after university. This year, I am trying to be more ambitious, with a newfound determination to improve and the help of a tutor, I am aiming for grades around AAB, if possible. I was wondering if any of you could recommend universities, particularly Russell Group ones, with strong ties to the engineering industry that accept resits and allow just A-Level Maths without requiring Physics, as I know both are often required for the higher-ranked courses. Thanks!
