medicine and dentistry scotland

Hi im in s6 looking to apply for the gateway to medicine course at st andrews, dundee,glasgow and aberdeen. i understand once you have completed this 1 year course you go onto to the 5 year medicine course. i was just wondering if im able to complete the 5 year dentistry course instead of medicine after my gateway year. im only looking to go unis in scotland. any advice is appreciated! also if there are any gateway to dentistry programs in scotland only as i cant seem to find any on UCAS and have heard that Dundee used to do it.

Hi, this is the University of Aberdeen rep account. Unfortunately we only have a graduate-entry dentistry course and so you wouldn't be able to progress directly in this way unfortunately. As Glasgow suggests I would recommend getting in contact directly with the institutions that offer the suitable dentistry courses so they can get you an answer.
