I am currently in year 13 and doing maths as level (year one only), applied science (btech), psychology alevel and an epq. Will I be able to get into universities? The good ones?

Most unis would expect you to have the equivalent of 3 A Levels. You have one AS, a BTEC certificate (as opposed to an extended diploma) and one A Level (the EPQ isn't really considered in the grand scheme of things).
There are unis that would accept the equivalent of 2 A Levels, but there are only about 5 in the country. You would be significantly better off either doing Maths as a full A Level or pick another subject as a full A Level in your gap year to sit privately. 3 A Levels or equivalent would open significantly more doors than 2 and a half.

Thank you! If I chose to do a foundation year in university would that change things?

Hi there!
Foundation years often have lower entry requirements as they teach you the foundations needed to progress onto the undergraduate degree. It depends on what you want to study. For example, at York St. John, you need 48 UCAS tariff points for many of our foundation years, including psychology, which you could get with your current subjects. Whereas, in Psychology, for example, to go straight into the 3-year undergraduate course, you'd need 120 UCAS tariff points (BBB at A-Level).
You can use the UCAS tariff point calculator to work out your points based on your predicted grades, then you can have a look at foundation courses from there! I'll link the calculator here.
Hope this helps!🤗 -Kiera (Student Ambassador, York St. John University)

The chances of you getting into foundation years is as slim as getting onto a degree course with what you have now.
Entry requirements for foundation years are similar to that for degree courses, but with slightly lower grade requirements. In other words, you are still looking at 3 A Levels or equivalent.

Yes it would. Some unis only require 112 uxas points with 2 complete a levels for year one, and for foundation it’s even lower, I’ve seen as low as 30 and 56
