PGCE funding.

Hi, I was wondering how funding worked for PGCEs as the information online is a little confusing.
For context, I completed my 3 year Ancient History BA and now want to pursue an undergraduate History teaching PGCE, so that I can become a history teacher.
I understand that there is a loan to help cover the cost of my tuition fee, however I was wondering if there is also a maintenance loan as well to help cover living expenses? Or am i unable to apply as it falls under postgraduate?
Im planning to apply and start my course 2025, so I need to know if I should save up beforehand as I know that History does not qualify for a teachers bursary unlike subjects such as Languages, English and Mathematics etc.
Thanks )

Hi there. Are you able to confirm the full name of the course and university you are looking to attend? How many years will the PGCE be? Is it full time or part time? Are you a UK national? Thanks, Leah.
