Accounting and Finance And predicted grades

Hi,
My son is applying got Accounting and Finance undergraduate this year. His main choices are LSE and Warwick. Then UCL, Durham and Southampton. Last two will be his back ups.
His gcse grades are seven 9s and three 8s. AS Levels 4As in Maths, Further maths, History and Economics. His school does AS Levels. He has dropped Economics and will be going with 3 ALs. He is a very capable boy but took it easy in the start of ALs and didn’t perform well in the school exams but got good grades at AS Levels. His school has given him A*Mathematics and 2As for history and F. Maths as predicted grades. They don’t want up his predicted grade for History to A*. School is highly academic as well as v strict. I don’t understand why they don’t do that since his chances of getting an offer is now reduced.

Can someone please help. If anyone else was in this same boat with A*AA predicted and got offers from Warwick for either Accounting and finance or anything else similar please reply.

I don’t know what else to do, my son doesn’t want to take a gap year and apply with real grades. He is working hard now and planning on taking TMUA if he can get a good grade in that to highlight his Personal statement.
