Are my university choices realistic?

A-Levels: Maths, Economics and Further Maths and i'm predicted A*AA

GCSE grades: 8877777766

Warwick - Economics and Management (A*AA) - TMUA required
Bristol - Maths and Economics (A*AA)
Kings - Economics (A*AA)
Notts - Maths and Economics (AAA)
Birmingham - Economics (AAA)
I'd suggest that you have one choice including a B grade - maybe switch one of those A* choices.

A / A* grade Economics choices are always risky, regardless of your predicted grades, because they get so many applications, and they will be able to be very picky about who they make offers to. You could, for instance, just get offers from your two AAA choices, which would mean you had no obvious Insurance choice, and if things dont go to plan next August could mean no Uni place. For this reason, having one lower 'safer' choice is a good idea.

AAB - Undergraduate - Economics subject group - University of Liverpool
AAB - Undergraduate study | Economics | The University of Sheffield

Okay thanks for replying! I'm predicted to get 6.5+ on the TMUA so hopefully that means I'll have a better chance of getting an offer from one of the A*AA Universities. I've seen that the most common grades for Birmingham that people get accepted with is AAB, but I will probably listen to you and have an AAB safety option just in case.

Good choices but surprised you didn't opt for LSE with those grades it's pretty decent for Econ.

LSE with my GCSE's probably isn't realistic
This is from the LSE Econ page:
'For GCSEs, you’ll need several GCSE grades at A (or 7) and A* (or 8-9)'

You have several 8's and loads of 7's, I would've thought you met the requirements? I would go for it.

The thing is some people get predicted 4A*s and all 9s at GCSE and get rejected by LSE economics and mathematics so I think it would just be a guaranteed rejection
