I’m an external in a new school not a single person from my school is going to my sixth form but I made really good friends with this girl in my econ class & form. We talk chat etc. well she opened up to me and the guy that sits next to me we will call him Rob (it’s a row of 4 so her on the end I’m next to her, Rob is next to me and his friend Chad is next to him). Well Rob used to like her but she doesn’t like him and she made that VERY KNOWN. She joked about another guy and that made Rob mad and he hasn’t spoken to/ been nice to her since. Ps.. they started off as very good friends.

So obviously I’m new, I’m her friend we are chatting laughing etc. Rob starts talking to me all of a sudden. Rob doesn’t stop speaking to me, he speaks to me more than his friend Chad. He finds every little excuse to speak to me and asks me sm questions in econ about life & econ. He always copies my work just takes my book, he’s extremely polite to me (overly polite) and is always making convo. He’s very smart btw he does maths, further maths & physics so I’m shocked why he’s asking ME for help.
Things just got worse & it’s very obvious he’s flirting with me. He often smiles and repeats my name ALOT. His friend clocked on and laughs at his funny attempts at flirting. He mimicks/ repeats questions in a flirty-mocking manner and I’m just in shock.
He’s in my form and won’t stop staring at me.

I THINK he’s doing all this to make my friend jealous BUT my friend thinks he’s into me/likes me. Anyways I’m confused

Why I think he might be making my friend jealous is because he used to like her a lot !

Ahaaa definitely a good reason but did he give you a reason to think that way? Does he keep looking at her which flirting with you? Does he only flirt with you when she’s looking or is around?

He doesn’t look at her he mainly looks at me smiling and stuff. The only opportunity he really gets to talk to me is in econ and she’s obviously sat next to me, again she’s in my form we are always together so I wouldn’t get to tell if it’s just when she’s around thing. I think I need to see if she ever has a day off if things are still the same 🤔 Him and his friend were really rude to her the other day so I don’t know if it’s a jealousy thing
