I am predicted A* A* A C but the school won’t let me drop my 4th subject
Would it be a disadvantage when applying to unis if I have my C in my 4th subject or will they take my top 3 into account?

This largely depends on the course and universities you are applying to, as well as the grades you have in each of your A level subjects. Generally, it shouldn’t make much of a difference. Many universities will only look at your highest three grades, but again, this will vary from course to course and university to university.
