How will deferred assessments affect Masters applications?

Hi! I’ve recently graduated with a Biological Sciences degree (1st) but due to some challenges I had in my final year, I had to defer 4 assessments into an RWA year and won’t receive the results until next year.

I’d really like to apply for a Masters at a good university but I’m anxious about how the remaining assessments will look to anyone reading my application.

Does anyone have any experience about applying for postgraduate study with deferred assessments and how it might affect the process?
