Kesaria Abramidze, 37, has been killed in Georgia following the passage of a bill that severely restricts LGBT rights in the country, including a ban on same-sex marriage and gender affirming surgeries amongst other things. Rights groups have argued that her murder is linked to the homophobic and transphobic language used by government officials in their promotion of the bill.

I'm sad because she had to lose her life for what she believed in. I may not agree with her decision to become female...but she didn't deserve to die for her decision.

Yeah but like on a 1-10 scale, how sad has it made you?

10 being so sad you're bed ridden, can't function, tortured by the cruelty of the world. 1 being sad enough to post on an Internet forum that you're sad but nothing more than that.

Id say a 4. My heart goes out to the family they lost a son becoming a daughter. But I'm not so sad I'm crying for her or am bedridden. I'm mad that it happened even though I'm not in favor of the LGBTQ lifestyle.

No one knows why this person was murdered. Right now they are just assuming.

Who cares that this woman was trans. She was human. A human dead by the means of another means murder. The murderers should pay big time.

Exactly. If this would have happened in Texas, they would be charged with Capital Murder and sent to trial. If found guilty, would be sentenced to either life in prison or death.
