Can anyone in their first year of their psychology course tell me their timetable. I'm currently deciding whether I should commute or live in halls, as I have a deferred place in hull for next year. It would be really helpful to have a rough idea of what my timetable could be like.
Hi, moved your thread to the University of Hull sub-forum to see if anyone picks it up, although highly unlikely... I would recommend moving into halls for the experience though, it really does help you grow up as a person!

Hello! It's great to hear that you're coming to study with us next year 🙂 It could vary week to week or semester to semester as to how often you'll need to be on campus, so I would really think about whether you are happy/comfortable with the commute if you did need to be on campus for four or five days in a particular week. There may also be societies or sports teams you'd like to try out on certain days/nights.
Sadly I can't give specific advice on the Psychology timetable (hopefully a current Psych student will find this thread!), however I would suggest booking onto our next open day (Jan 18th) as, even if you've been before, you can test out the journey again; have a look at the accommodation and see how it feels to you; and there will also be current students and staff on-hand to ask about timetabling and what it's really like. Just an idea to think about 🙂

Thank you so much!! I've had a look at the accommodation and really like it. I'm definitely planning on going to an open day again to make a final decision, but think I'm leaning more towards accommodation now so I can get fully involved like you said with societies and social things
