Hi there,

UC and PIP doesn't affect your entitlement with us, but our entitlement can affect your benefits.

Thanks,
Ross

Yes I understand I just want to know roughly by how much. Will it be worth studying or not

I've been awarded the Tution 7,500
The maintenance loan 4,000
Grants 8,100.00

Hi,

We don't know how much it'll affect your benefits, you'll need to contact them directly.

Thanks,
Ross

I should add more context. I'm a single person live alone, I'm on work capacity benefits and get the standard rate of PiP my uni degree is 12 hrs a week. UC couldn't give me any advice until I applied. Now I feel like I'm in a catch 22 situation. Suppose to start this week I've had too much anxiety to start so now I'm unsure

That's the thing I have done, they said they can't advise until I've applied for student finance which now I feel that I'm in a catch 22 situation seems very unfair.

Once your funding is approved with us you can speak to the benefit agents. They should be able to give you a rough idea on how much it'll be affected by.

Thanks,
Ross
