What should I wear to uni?

So I know that theres no uniform policy (i think), but I dont know what to wear. Like can I wear a hoodie without seeming like the odd one out?
First in the family to go university lol.

Any advice?
Thanks?

We also don't have any uniform policy. I wear a hoodie now and then.

Hi @Random3

Honestly, I know it's vague. but whatever you want to wear. I've seen people in 3 piece suits and also people in joggers and crocs in the same lecture. Wear something you feel comfy in, whatever you'd wear normally!

Hey there 😁

The university community is incredibly diverse, so you can truly wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. There's no need to change your style - just be yourself! As others have mentioned, you'll see everything from formal outfits to pyjamas. There’s no strict dress code. If anything, I’d say it’s more of a "express and feel yourself" dress code 😅

I hope it was helpful 💪 Feel free to reach out if you have any questions 😉 You can also chat with me or other students directly through The Ambassador Platform.

Take care,

If you look on any Uni website, you will see photos of what their students ae wearing - and , its pretty much 'everything' and 'anything'. Wear what makes you feel comfortable, and 'confident'.

You can wear whatever you like really many students will wear hoodies I usually wore a hoodie and jeans so many people wore university hoodies once the new colours came out I. The middle of my first year they were so comfortable that I bought one on line after I graduated (I gained muscle and my old one didn’t fit me anymore.).

Where what you feel comfortable in - but also keep in mind you want to present the best version of yourself to your lecturers and peers.
