I want to study Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health MSc online but...

Currently, this course is offered by both Warwick and KCL, with an approximate cost difference of £8,000. Being in my mid-50s, I am pursuing this study out of passion and a desire to contribute to mental health-related social issues through volunteering. Given my successful engineering career, I am not seeking employment with this MSc upon completion.

Considering this, why should I pay the additional £8,000 to attend KCL if Warwick provides the same education? I would appreciate your insights. Thank you.

Short answer you shouldn't. Do the course at Warwick.

It's likely more expensive due to a) London unis charge more for postgrads, b) more expensive for them to hire lecturers etc, c) more 'prestigious'

Thank you. I wish there are some people in here who had attended or currently attending these courses and are able to share their views.

Hi! I’m curious if you chose either program, or something else. I accepted an offer from King’s but am having second thoughts based on student experiences shared here: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7449941

At the end I discovered there is a course in Psychology and Mental Health (Conversion) close to home @ University of Edinburgh and currently studying there part time. The modules covered are similar to those offered in KCL and Warwick but without the hype of Neuroscience.

How do you like your studies so far? Have the faculty been supportive, are the materials relevant and useful?
