Still awaiting confirmation of registration to be sent to student finance wales

Hi, I have had quite a turbulent start to second year already.
I am due to start uni on 23rd sep and I have registered with my uni, however my sfw account says ‘awaiting confirmation’ I called my uni to ask when this will be sent off as I am commuting this year and need my loan for travelling etc. one person said I need to complete in person registration too so I called up again to discuss when I could come in, then a second person told me this isn’t right and that I have fully registered?
So basically it says I’m due to be paid on 23rd sep but today (20th sep) it still says waiting confirmation. Is it likely I would get my payment on Monday? I have tried to speak with so many advisors from both my uni and student finance, but to no avail.

When you said you had no success contacting those from Student Finance does this mean that you simply could not get through to them on the phone? If this is the case it may always be beneficial to try and call again or perhaps even email with your customer reference number.

Hey! So I got through to them but they said that they can’t see any confirmation of registration, had a check on my account today and still says awaiting confirmation, I’m just a little worried as I’m commuting this year and my travel this week alone is going to cost around £90 which is what my loan is for hahah. I’m going to uni on Monday so will have to wait till then and ask in person but just wondering if it could still update over the weekend?

I'm really sorry to hear that you are having problems with Student Finance, and getting your payments.
While I can't give you a straightforward answer, I would just keep checking your account, and keep in contact with your University and Student Finance for any updates. While support varies and i can't promise anything, you could contact your universities finance team/financial support team if you are struggling to cover the costs of your travel, as there may be something they can do to help while you are awaiting your student finance.

To be honest it’s not on student finances fault, it’s my unis, they just haven’t sent it over and thus, I’m stressed🤣I have my first day tomorrow so I’m going in early to speak to them and basically ask them to send it off while I’m there or atleast get some answers. Hoping they can give me some!
Yeah that’s a good idea seeing if they can maybe give me a voucher of some sort, I doubt it but might as well try!

I checked my student finance account, before I could see how much I was getting each term and the expected date, now it just says ‘confirming all details’ and I can’t see anything about my payments like before? I’m hoping that means they’re just checking my uni registration but I’m very nervous :/
