Okay thanks and yeah as listed above does anyone know what the UCAT cut off might be? I saw on an excel spreadsheet last year that there were two home students that applied with UCAT scores of over 3000 of the two one got an invite to interview and the other received a rejection

During the webinar they mentioned they’ll only be able to determine the cut off score once they actually have the applications in.
I think those two home places were only for widening participation students right ?
Where did you manage to find the spreadsheet?

Do you know if there will be another webinar before the UCAS deadline?

I know one of the criteria from last year was for individuals who live in Surrey. Did they mention anything about criteria for 2025 entry?

Also could you kindly share any other important information / things you think would be worth knowing from the webinar?

It was posted under one of last years GEM course pages but I can’t remember which one 😭 I spend way too much time on TSR 😂

It was last year but I think that’s no longer the case this year because it doesn’t mention anything of the sort under entry requirements

On UCAS it's say there are a small number of home places available but it will be made available via separate scholarship scheme, something along the line. So now I'm just confused

I'm thinking of applying although it's between Worcester and surrey. I'd ideally prefer surrey as it's closer to me but not sure if it is too aspirational - 2870 b2 and 2.1 bioscience degree

I’ve just sent them an email so hopefully we get some clarification before the deadline

Okay so received an email yesterday and the admissions officer for medicine responded with the following:

“Thank you for your email.

I am sorry for any confusion the UCAS page has caused.
We do have 2 scholarship places still available for home students however, we also have an additional 34 places for home applicants for which you do not need to meet any of the scholarship criteria.

I hope that this clarifies this and please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions.”

So with that being said I am assuming that you don’t have to meet the criteria to apply but for those that do they are eligible for a scholarship

I mean it’s a new medical school so considering we don’t have any prehistoric data to look at it really just depends on the set of applicants that apply
