6th form college vs 6th form?

If I'm going to do A-levels anyways (currently Y11), does 6th form college vs 6th form matter? Personally I'm aiming for Greenhead College which (supposedly) is one of the best 6th form colleges nationwide? I keep hearing 6th forms are better than colleges for academic subjects/A-levels, and wanted to know if that would be the case for 6th form colleges as well. Thanks in advance.

To my knowledge a sixth form college solely teaches to students in years 12 and 12, whereas a sixth form is part of a secondary. It might vary in naming but I dont think it matters that much, certainly not a reason to turn down a school 🙂
