I'm an international student and I want to know how the maths course is like in terms of teaching quality and contact hours, especially for students getting second year entry

I'm a first year and what think right now is that it's very fast paced and the professor goes through one section every 5 minutes, but the teaching quality is good and so is the contact hours im just rlly stupid in maths that's all idk about second year entry but I assume it's more stressful
