Thoughts on uni choices

Predicted grades - A*AAA (maths, economics, physics as further maths respectively)

GCSE grades - 99999887777

Personal statement - very good according to teachers ive asked

applying to (these are subject to change):
UCL Economics - A*AA
Bath Economics - A*AA
KCL Economics - A*AA
Edinburgh Economics - A*AA
Manchester Economics - AAA

are universities like lse too aspirational to apply to without the full further maths alevel? I am quite good at maths and im confident i can get a good score in the tmua in jan if i put the work in. Would this boost my application?

Hope you get a response soon. Good luck with your application.

My son is in a similar status with his predicted grades. He wants to apply for Accounting & Finance.

LSE - required AAA

Warwick - A*AA

UCL - A*AA

Bath - AAA-A*AB

Southampton- AAB

His GCSEs 9999999887. (7 for German) AS Levels results 4As (Maths, F. maths, History & Economics) he has dropped Economics at Y13 and going with 3 subjects.

Many pupils from comprehensives with this similar grades have been predicted 3A*s. But my sons school is v strict on predicted grades although he is a v capable child and has good AS results. But he messed up the school
Mock exams before the AS exams(relative to what the school expected). But he did really well in the AS exams.

Will he be at a disadvantage for LSE Warwick and UCl to get offers since most will apply with 3-4A*s predicted? His aspirational Unis are those 3.

Can someone with past experience pls advise?
Thank you
