EPQ research study - FEMALE PARTICIPANTS NEEDE

Hi,

I was just wondering if you would be willing to participate in a study for my EPQ. There may be some sensitive topics but all responses will be kept anonymous.

Question : How does the hypersexualisation of females in the media make you feel? e.g any negative effects it may have had on you / your thoughts and opinions

Hey I’m not sure if there is an age limit for your research, but I’m 17 yrs old. Hypersexualisation in the media to be honest makes me feel pressured to post more sexualised content about myself, seeing all these models with revealing clothes on makes me feel like I’m not good enough. And the posts about my self in revealing outfits tend to do a lot better than the post about my regular life in normal modest outfits. The more i see pretty girls on instagram and other platforms makes me hate the way I post. I’m not blaming these girls, if I looked the way they did I’d post every single second. I’m not sure if my response helped you , I think I started to vent a bit. Sorry! **

It's ✨depressing✨. Honestly I don't feel it affects me much but I have to say it's really sad to see younger girls feel like they have to dress up to feel accepted in the world :frown:

I feel like luckily bc I hav every little social media I see a lot less if it than lots of other people so I'm a bit af an outside observer almost? Anyway yeah I just hope these younger girls can realise they don't need to do all that to be worth space
I'm 16 btw
