I used StudySmarter to learn all my vocabulary- it’s really good because it uses spaced repetition. This means that when you’re using the digital flashcards on there you can learn however many in a day and then it will bring them back for you to review a few days later to check over them again. This way it’s much quicker to learn vocab than some other digital flashcard sites because you’re only going over cards you haven’t learnt yet or ones you haven’t seen in a while. It’s fine if you prefer to use another app but if you’d like to use StudySmarter i can send you my flashcard sets 🙂

For tenses, make flashcards for them (I googled pdf gcse Spanish tenses) and review these regularly.

It’s important to become familiar with the sounds of the language for listening papers. If you’ve got access to a platform like active learn then that’s invaluable. I also enjoyed listening to pop music covers translated into Spanish whilst studying. You’ll also want to do some past papers because the recordings can be a little weird and you’ll need to get used to the question types and command words.

For reading, once you know the vocab and tenses doing past papers becomes more of a way to expand your vocabulary as well as improving your knowledge of different question types and how papers can try and trick you. Before doing a paper id recommend that you go through it and use deepl translate to get the definitions for any words you dont already know. Put these into whatever flashcard app you use later. Then do the paper to practice retrieving the correct information from texts.

For writing, the only thing which i realistically did to prepare was blookets on complex structures (basically fancy grammar stuff which boosts your mark)
