College timetables???

I'm planning on to a college next year, but I'd only be taking one subject (ideally a media b-tech), because I have ME and don't have the right qualifications for an a level, I'm homeschooled atm because I can't handle normal school, but I think I could handle college since it's supposed to be less right? Basically my question is; roughly how many hours a week does one college course take? I know it varies from school to school but I can't find anything on the one I want to attend so I'm just wondering roughly what's the hours for one course

At the college I went to it's about 4-5 hours in-class time per subject per week for A-levels and A-level equivalents. Then about the same amount of time is expected for independent study (but that can vary week to week dependent on homework set or revision needed to do).

So depending on what type of BTEC the Media one you're looking at is (a BTEC Subsidiary Diploma counts the same as one A-level, a BTEC Diploma is equivalent to two A-levels, while a BTEC Extended Diploma counts for three A-levels) then I'd guess it'd be somewhere around 4-15hrs of class-time per week.

The b-tech I want to do is equivalent to one A-level, so hopefully that means 4-5 hours a week if my college is similar to yours. Thanks so much for replying that rlly puts my mind at ease bc I can definitely handle less than 10 hours a week
