Are lse flexible on their gcse requirements?

Im considering applying to lse for law, but I only got a 5 in maths gcse- not a 6 as they requested.

The rest of my gcses are all 7,8s & 9s and my a level predicted are on track, i've contacted admissions and they said they would consider it, but considering how completive lse is does anyone know if it would even be worth applying or I would just stand no chance?

If anyones applied with a 5 in maths pls lmk if you got offered a place!

Thankyou in advance

I mean the other parts of your application are more important, so if you had amazing predicted grades + LNAT + PS then they might overlook the 5.
