Computer Science degree

just started sixth form.
I got all 9 for GCSE apart from English language, got a 6.
Non-contextual.
I know everyone is saying A/Levels are more important and most unis don’t look at GCSE as long as we meet the minimum requirement…

I would like to apply for Computer Science degree at Oxbridge, Imperial,UCL,KCL,Bristol…

I am worried about my language grade 6.

Did anyone get same GCSE grades than me and got an offer for CS (non contextual) please..

Should I resit
Many thanks
I think the language 6 will be fine but the individual websites will let you know what their requirements are.

In general, you have a lot of competitve courses on this list and it will be a lottery as to which you get offers from. London Unis are very much in demand from international applicants as well as UK ones.
If you are really unlucky, it could be you end up with no offers. So I would seiously consider taking one of those and switching it for a less in demand course. As your insurance against missing out.

You should be fine to be honest, apparently they only look at your best 8 grades so assuming you did 9 or more GCSEs you would have a perfect record in their eyes.
