Can you confirm that you mean the BTEC Level 3 National Certificate in Applied Science (worth half an A level) rather than the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Applied Science (worth a full A level)?

To be honest, even if you mean the Extended Certificate the answer is almost certainly "No". But if you really mean the Certificate then it's definitely "No". Sorry. :frown:
In simple terms, you have not done enough science within your current qualifications, and even for a Gateway course, you don't have the right qualifications. Who advised you when you picked these qualifications - were they aware that you wanted to do Med?

Im currently doing the national diploma in applied science (which is equivalent to 2 A levels) alongside A level psychology, would i be able to apply to the foundation/gateway medicine course? If so, which universities pls?

I don't know any foundation / gateway courses for medicine which would accept those qualifications, I'm afraid.

What if i just do more units and make it a extended diploma?

Then you'd be able to apply to quite a few places (although many still won't accept a BTEC Extended Diploma with no A levels). Here are some places to which you would be able to apply:

Health Foundation Year for Medicine at Keel University - "DDM in BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied Science, Health & Social Care, or Sport & Exercise Science" (details)
Medicine at University of Bristol - "DDD in Applied Science BTEC National Level 3 Extended Diploma, with Distinctions in five specified Chemistry units" (details)
Gateway to Medicine at University of Bristol - "DMM BTEC Extended Diploma Applied Science (RQF): Grades DDM or DMM, including five specified Biology or Chemistry units in any combination." (details)
BMBS Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Foundation at University of Plymouth - "DDM in a relevant subject, which must contain units covering sufficient Biology and another science." (details)

Note that Bristol and Plymouth are fussy about the specific units you've taken - so if you're going to top-up your Diploma to an Extended Diploma, check which units these universities need you to have to ensure they're in the "top-up" (unless you'd already done them as part of the Diploma)..

Unfortunately not, sorry. :frown:

In A level terms, universities typically ask for two science or maths A levels, one of which must be Chemistry. (The rules vary, so that's an approximation.) Your Extended Certificate in Applied Science covers the three sciences in roughly equally measure. So you'd be offering the equivalent of about 1/3 of an A level in Chemistry (when they want a full A level) and 2/3 of an A level in other sciences (when they want another full science / maths A level).

Looking at Bristol specifically, for both their MB ChB Medicine and MB ChB Gateway to Medicine courses, they only accept the Extended Diploma - and even then they demand that an appropriate number of Chemistry and/or Biology units be done. So they're really quite specific about what they want - to ensure that you've covered enough relevant science. Your Extended Certificate isn't going to cover enough material, unfortunately.
