Make a revision timetable and stick to it

Do lots of questions and work on any area you get wrong

Have a tidy and distraction free workspace

Try not to burn yourself out revising cos then you’ll have no energy when you’re doing the actual papers lol

Is it realistic for me to get majority 9s if i start now?

Well I need some context ofc. What grades are you working at in class tests for example? And are your school giving you full papers? In which case have you covered all the content for subjects or just paper 1 etc?

First well done on starting now and not last minute.

I would advise:

Be consistent and regular, work throughout the week a bit everyday

Make flashcards to remmeber everything

Revise the top themes, quotes, all key content from your teacher

Use Mr salles or Mr everything english for quick reminders

Use Tilf website to practice essay writing with the real feedback and mark from the exam

Sleep well, eat well, keep a good routine

You need to start now! don't wait for last minute!

You need to be consistent and do a little bit everyday.

For english and history, you can use Tilf website to get a mark and feedback on your essays.
For sciences, I would use Cognito, BBC bite size.
For all, use flashcards!

Do this every week and you'll get the best results. Don't just practice whatever predicted questions, practice all past mock exams.

Well i need 9s in chemistry, biology, maths, business, DT. Dt i’m working at a 9, business an 8, chem 9, biology 8 and maths a 9. And i think with the mocks they will give all of paper 1 topics with one paper 2 topics.

How much a day do you think I should do to get these grades? And should i just go straight into past paper questions and then use cognito for the stiff i get wrong?

Id suggest doing some quizzes and practice questions. I know people say to do past papers but i actually would advise against this for mocks because you’ll want to have plenty for the actual gcse exam season. Cognito is a really valuable resource for science and maths because it has its own exam style questions and quizzes! For other subjects past papers are alright, as long as you dont exhaust them! Also if you can get any textbooks (especially hodder) those have great questions and tasks in them 🙂
But yeah other than my technicality (which you can ignore if you like!) that sounds like a great method!

Your current grades are amazing so your current revision techniques must be working. I would also advise:

revising little and often throughout the whole of year 11

creating a revision timetable (whether that is a speciifc one with allocated time slots for each subject or more generic with a list of to-do topics for the day) that you can actually manage

do multiple different methods to find which ones work for you - reading notes, flashcard, past paper questions, timed practice, quizzes etc.

Good luck for your mocks and GCSEs xx

Also btw I have merged two of your threads together as they were about the same topic

heyy, i'd suggest using these websites for specific subjects:
Cognito (youtube and website) for sciences. Itll boost your grade up amazingly. you can also do maths on there.
Save my exams- English lit and lang, all the sciences, business (you have to pay though)
Quizlet- good for quick flashcards for any subject
BBC bitesize- biology. wouldnt suggest it for rs tho.
Gcse pod- short videos for any subject. not sure if u have to pay or not
dr frost- maths. AMAZING WEBSITE!

Id also suggest getting CGP books. u can get these from amazon or whsmith, waterstones, etc. theyre pretty cheap too and amazing

Don't spend your time writing notes. if u are going to, make them short and summarised with only key info. Id suggest going out of your home to revise- eg cafes, libraries. dont be scared to, nobody cares what u are doing!!
Dont stay up late revising. midnight latest! anything after that you wont remember
For subjects where you need to remember quotes eg english lit and rs- USE FLASHCARDS!

spend the majority of your time doing exam questions and past papers. you should be spending 70% of your revision time on this (professionals said this)
