Seeking Advice on Applying to Oxford with a 3.00 CGPA

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well! My name is Arafat, and I recently completed my BSc in Computer Science from BRAC University in Bangladesh. I have a CGPA of 3.00, along with two years of teaching experience in ICT for grades 6-10. I also worked at a well-known NGO called Atmabiswas.

In addition to my teaching experience, I’ve been involved in clubs at university (the Computer Club and the Multicultural Club), and I have worked on personal projects like game development, including a TikTok clone and a Google clone. I’m proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python. My IELTS score is 7.00, and I’ve done some voluntary work during a crisis in Bangladesh.

Given my background, I’m considering applying for a Master’s program in Computer Science or an MBA at Oxford University. However, I’m concerned that my CGPA may not meet their typical requirements.

Do you think I have a chance of being accepted? Any advice on how to strengthen my application would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Akil
